Overview of the Zoom H6 Audio recorder

The Zoom H6 All Black Handy recorder is a portable audio recorder that has replaced the original gray H6 with two interchangeable mics and USB audio interface that features an interchangeable microphone system. The All Black H6 recorder is made for use with podcasters, bands and multi-instrumentalists; essentially people who don't need the extras immediately. This mic is widely popular in Kenya used by journalists, audio engineers and in many video production sets. The included X/Y stereo microphone capsule in addition to it's six mic/line inputs, and up to 6-track recording, makes this recorder user-friendly and easily expandable.

Additionally, you can hold it by your hand, attach it to a tripod or microphone stand or mount it on a camera (shoe mount available separately). It can also supply phantom or plug-in power for condenser mics, or accept direct connections from synths, keyboards, drum machines, or +4 dB line-level mixers. Selectable auto-recording and pre-recording ensure that you don't miss a moment while stereo safety track recording provides duplicate tracks at a lower level to avoid distortion.

Finally, as most recorders from Zoom, the H6 All Black recorder is supplied with free download licenses for Steinberg's Cubase LE music production software and WaveLab LE audio editing software that can enable you not only capture audio but also create it.
